The 2026–2027 Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund (LGRMIF) grant cycle is now open as of February 17, 2026. Eligible New York City and State agencies can apply for up to $75,000 in funding through the New York State Archives.
The deadline is April 1, 2026. The application window is short. Agencies that begin now will be in the strongest position to submit complete and competitive proposals.
