Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
At CASO Document Management, we are committed to making the world a more positive, productive and hopeful place. From fundraising and charitable drives to mentorship programs and vocational training, we take an active role in contributing to those in need to lead an inspired, fruitful life. Following are the causes we proudly support:
AMERICAN RED CROSS is among the world’s most important charitable organizations, helping to “prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.” Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, the American Red Cross assists with disaster relief, life-saving blood donations, health and safety certifications, international aid and military support programs. Recently, they have provided emergency assistance to Texas residents in the wake of Hurricane Harvey and to Puerto Rican residents following Hurricane Maria, providing life-saving supplies and funds to those in need. CASO proudly contributes to the American Red Cross and supports their efforts in Texas, Puerto Rico and around the world.
FEDCAP is a national non-profit that helps people with economic barriers to graduate from high school, obtain vocational certification or a college degree, become work ready, obtain meaningful employment and achieve economic well-being. CASO Document Management has been a proud partner of Fedcap for over a decade and continues to employ many members of the Fedcap community. CASO is a designated Ladders for Leaders internship worksite for college and high school students in conjuction with the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development. This 6-week progam helps youngsters gain valuable knowledge and essential skills in business and technology. It culminates with a high-impact celebration in Manhattan, with all interns, board members, donors, government and business partners in attendance, It is our privilege to help support these young future professionals on their journeys.
NEW YORK CARES is a resource-rich non-profit that provides essential tools for volunteers to revitalize public spaces, improve education, and respond to urgent community needs. This past year, CASO organized a coat drive, collecting scores of coats to help keep New Yorkers warmer, healthier and safer for the winter.
GIRLS WHO CODE is a national non-profit organization that is helping close the gender gap in technology. With over 10,000 young girls participating in 42 states, Girls Who Code aims to reverse the trend of teenage girls being left behind in computer science. GWC coding clubs and summer immersions have produced scores of female engineers. CASO Document Management is particularly attuned to the need for greater diversity in our industry, and enthusiastically donates to GWC each year.
GREENLIGHT A VET is a non-profit that honors American Veterans through community support. This program was introduced in 2015. It encourages citizens nationwide to turn at least one visible light in their home or office to green as a gesture of support and appreciation for the hardworking brave women and men who risk their lives on our behalf. We are thrilled to participate in this program each year and express our gratitude for their invaluable service.
THE U.S. MARINE CORPS’ TOYS FOR TOTS program helps less fortunate children in the United States experience the joy of the holidays. By delivering a message of hope (and a new toy) to these youngsters each holiday season, the program assists kids across the country in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. CASO proudly partnered with Toys for Tots last year to raise funding for our local community. We also became an official drop-off center, where we successfully collected heartwarming gifts for local kids in need.
ONE WARM COAT provides American men, women and children in need with warm coats to brave through the year’s colder months. Founded in 1992, One Warm Coat now holds over 3,000 coat drives each year, with CASO proudly contributing time and resources to this vital cause.
THE INN serves homeless and hungry folks in Long Island, New York. Founded in 1983 as a single soup kitchen, the organization has expanded to communities throughout Long Island, and now serves 5,000 people per week at 21 locations.
